Life’s Passions and Rewards

Like so many dentists, my life’s passions are a mix of work and play. I love both.
It is a great thrill for me to help a dedicated dentist supercharge his or her practice by adding oral conscious sedation to the practice’s offerings. The magic is that not only does the dentist provide a tremendous service to his/her patients, the dentist also reaps a sizeable financial reward for the effort – typically between $25,000 and $100,000 a year in additional income.
In my private time, I’m passionate about my daughter, Grace, and about the great outdoors. I love nature – actually originally thought I’d be a botanist – and now that I split my time between Seattle and Idaho, I can indulge in boating, fishing, rock climbing and other activities that were much less accessible in my former Philadelphia digs.
I think all great dentists aspire to a life of service AND personal attainment. So many D.O.C.S. members have elevated both their professional practices and their level of personal fulfillment by providing sedation dentistry. It makes me very proud to be a catalyst for such success.
In future posts, I plan to showcase some of the fabulous achievements of my friends and colleagues who are successful D.O.C.S. members. I not only want to use this blog to tell you about my passions – but also about those who I respect, admire and – yes—am proud to call friends.
What’s your passion?
